About Me
Valley Park High School has been my home since 2011 and I love teaching here! I grew up in the area and attended Parkway South, but I proudly wear the blue and orange now (GO HAWKS)! I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2011 with a Bachelor's in Secondary Social Studies Education and a minor in History. I continued my education and graduated from Arkansas State University in 2014 with a Master's in Educational Theory and Practice.

Classroom Expectations
Students are expected to be active participants in their learning. Students should work hard, participate in class discussion, ask questions, complete assignments, and seek out help when necessary. The social studies curriculum is designed to prepare students to be thoughtful, active, and engaged citizens and I am passionate about sending students into the world prepared to make it better. Everyone in the class should respect one another as human beings and always act with kindness and compassion.
